Toddler swim lessons in Gilbert & Mesa, AZ for ages 16 to 24 months.
Your little one is ready for more. The Pufferfish class at EVO Swim School builds on the water comfort your toddler already has and adds the skills that come next: floating, independent movement, and the early survival basics that prepare them for group lessons without you in the water.
Parents stay in the pool every session. Coaches lead with songs, structured play, and gentle guidance in a warm indoor pool designed for the youngest swimmers. Families across Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, and the East Valley choose EVO for the steady, age-appropriate progression their toddlers need.
With an 8:1 ratio, your toddler gets more direct coaching time as the skills become more independent.
Arizona temperatures swing hard, but EVO's indoor pools stay warm and consistent year-round.
Rim flow gutters keep the pool edge calm, and a viewing room with free Wi-Fi and a sibling play area means the whole family can come along.

The Pufferfish class is the next level after Starfish, built for toddlers ages 16 to 24 months who are already comfortable in the water and have started holding their breath. As one of EVO's signature parent and tot swim lessons, every session keeps a caregiver in the pool while toddlers stretch into more confident, independent movement.
Advanced breath control. Building on early breath-holding for greater confidence.
Unassisted movement. Practicing independent strokes with gentle coach guidance.
Floating fundamentals. Getting familiar with buoyancy through playful floating drills.
Baby survival skills. Laying a foundation in water safety for group lessons without a parent in the water.
Sessions are 30 minutes in EVO's warm indoor pool, one class per week.

| Class | Ratio | Monthly Rate |

Babies can begin the Starfish class as early as 3 months old. At this stage, infant swimming lessons focus on water comfort and breath control rather than strokes, making early enrollment safe and age-appropriate.
Yes. EVO's Starfish class is a parent-tot swim class where a parent or caregiver joins the baby in the water for every session. The class covers water acclimation, basic skills, and parent-child bonding.
Both year-round locations in Gilbert and Mesa feature indoor, climate-controlled pools. Water temperature stays warm and consistent regardless of the season.
Bring a swim diaper, a towel, and a change of clothes for you and your baby. No goggles or special gear are needed for the Starfish level.
The Starfish class has a 12:1 student-to-coach ratio. Because a parent or caregiver is in the water with each baby, your little one has both professional guidance and your support at all times.
Once your child is ready, the next step is the Pufferfish class, another parent-tot level with an 8:1 ratio for ages 16 to 24 months. From there, swimmers move into EVO's entry-level classes like Otter and Seal.
