Babies under 6 months swim free every month. After that, pricing stays low: $30/month for 7 to 9 months, $59/month for 10 months and older. No other swim school in the East Valley makes early infant swimming this accessible.
Warm indoor pools.
Babies lose heat fast. EVO's pools are climate-controlled and kept comfortably warm, so swim lessons for 6-month-old babies feel safe rather than shocking.
A parent in the water, always.
Every infant class is a parent-tot format. You stay with your baby every minute of every session.
Two Classes for Babies: Starfish and Pufferfish
EVO offers two parent-tot levels for babies, tuned to specific stages of development.
Parent-Tot • 12:1 Ratio
⭐ Starfish (3–15 Months)
The introductory class for babies. Children build water comfort,
gentle breath-holding basics, and parent-child bonding through
structured water play.
The next step after Starfish. Babies who have mastered basic
comfort move into Pufferfish, where the focus shifts to floating,
independent movement, and early survival skills.
Water comfort and relaxation. Helping babies feel safe through gentle, repeated exposure.
Breath control basics. Age-appropriate exercises introducing breath-holding while briefly submerged.
Floating and movement. Practicing buoyancy and independent movement as readiness allows.
Early survival skills. Building the foundation for rolling, breathing, and water safety awareness. Survival skills aren't a separate program at EVO; the basics are woven into the parent-tot curriculum from the start.
Note:-EVO serves Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, and the East Valley. Infant swim lessons in Mesa, AZ, and Gilbert run on the same schedule at each pool, so families pick the location closest to home.
Your Questions, Answered
Yes. Starfish, EVO's introductory parent-tot class, is completely free for babies 6 months and younger. No trial fee, no upgrade requirement, no hidden cost. After 6 months, pricing scales gently: $30/month through 9 months, $59/month from 10 months.
Babies can begin the Starfish class at 3 months. The focus at this stage is purely on water comfort, making early enrollment safe and age-appropriate.
Yes. Six-month-olds are right in the heart of Starfish's age range, and lessons at this age are free. Many parents enroll between 4 and 8 months specifically because water comfort builds most easily then.
Survival skills are woven into EVO's parent-tot curriculum, especially in Pufferfish (16 to 24 months), where babies work on early floating, rolling, and water awareness. Infant survival swim lessons at EVO are part of the natural progression rather than a separate program.
Yes. All infant and toddler classes are parent-tot format, meaning a parent or caregiver swims with the baby every session. Dads, grandparents, and other caregivers are equally welcome.
A swim diaper (required), a swimsuit, a towel, and a change of clothes for both you and your baby. EVO's parent viewing room has free Wi-Fi and a sibling play area.
