Designed for children ages 4 to 12, the Sea Lion class is the perfect introduction to form swimming. With one instructor for every four students, this class focuses on building strong foundational skills for efficient and confident swimming.
This class sets the stage for future stroke development while making swimming an enjoyable and safe experience!
Practice makes perfect! Every child is different so there is no right or wrong answer.
Babies can begin the Starfish class as early as 3 months old. At this stage, infant swimming lessons focus on water comfort and breath control rather than strokes, making early enrollment safe and age-appropriate.
Yes. EVO's Starfish class is a parent-tot swim class where a parent or caregiver joins the baby in the water for every session. The class covers water acclimation, basic skills, and parent-child bonding.
Both year-round locations in Gilbert and Mesa feature indoor, climate-controlled pools. Water temperature stays warm and consistent regardless of the season.
Bring a swim diaper, a towel, and a change of clothes for you and your baby. No goggles or special gear are needed for the Starfish level.
The Starfish class has a 12:1 student-to-coach ratio. Because a parent or caregiver is in the water with each baby, your little one has both professional guidance and your support at all times.
Once your child is ready, the next step is the Pufferfish class, another parent-tot level with an 8:1 ratio for ages 16 to 24 months. From there, swimmers move into EVO's entry-level classes like Otter and Seal.
