The Porpoise class is built for swimmers ready to refine technique and grow endurance. Children typically move into Porpoise from Sea Lion, where they were introduced to freestyle. Babies can begin the Starfish class as early as 3 months old. At this stage, infant swimming lessons focus on water comfort and breath control rather than strokes, making early enrollment safe and age-appropriate.

The Starfish class has a 12:1 student-to-coach ratio. Because a parent or caregiver is in the water with each baby, your little one has both professional guidance and your support at all times.
Once your child is ready, the next step is the Pufferfish class, another parent-tot level with an 8:1 ratio for ages 16 to 24 months. From there, swimmers move into EVO's entry-level classes like Otter and Seal.
