Eily McKee, Age 4, Seal Graduate
EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Eily McKee, age 4, has graduated from the Seal class level. She is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. She can also jump from the side, get a breath on her back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. She will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Liam Taylor, Age 2, has graduated from the Otter class level. He can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on his back for a security breath. He will be moving to the Seal class to perfect his kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Alyssa Littler, age 7, has graduated from the Porpoise class level. She has learned to swim a proper freestyle stroke with the side breathing technique and backstroke. She is now ready for the Dolphin class where her will learn breaststroke and butterfly. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Ethan Tuttle, age 7, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Ethan can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Ethan has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to the swim team environment. Here he will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on his feet.
