Anika Khurana Age 4 Seal Graduate
EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Anika Khurana, Age 4, has graduated from the Seal class level. She is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. She can also jump from the side, get a breath on her back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. They will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Amani Mar, Ages 5, has graduated from the Otter class level. She can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on her back for a security breath. She will be moving to the Seal class to perfect her kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Alex Joy, age 9, has graduated from the Porpoise class level. He has learned to swim a proper freestyle stroke with the side breathing technique and backstroke. He is now ready for the Dolphin class where he will learn breaststroke and butterfly. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Richard Hanger, age 1, has graduated from the Pufferfish (parent/tot) class level. Richard was given an introduction to the water which included back floats, kicking, and under water passes (not to mention great bonding time with mom and dad). Richard is ready to advance to the Otter class which is a group lesson of only four children. In this class he will learn how to swim independently in the water.
