EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Isabella Emerson, age 4 has graduated from the Otter class level. She can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on her back for a security breath. She will be moving to the Seal class to perfect her kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Avery and Oliva Lucchi, ages 8 and 6, have graduated from the Sea Lion class level. They can now display the ability to swim a basic freestyle stroke (otherwise known as “big arms”) while taking a breath on their backs. Avery and Olivia are prepared for the Porpoise class where they will learn the freestyle side breathing technique and backstroke. He is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Walter can also jump from the side, get a breath on his back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. He will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”.
