Evo Swim School

EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Molly MacDonald, age 4 has graduated from the Seal class level. She is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Molly can also jump from the side, get a breath on her back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. She will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Sarah Honeycutt, age 8, has graduated from the Porpoise class level. She has learned to swim a proper freestyle stroke with the side breathing technique and backstroke. She is now ready for the Dolphin class where she will learn breaststroke and butterfly. On behalf Of Sarah’s instructor, John, and the entire EVO Swim School staff, we say… CONGRATULATIONS!

EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Linda Hu, age 10, has graduated from the Porpoise class level. She has learned to swim a proper freestyle stroke with the side breathing technique and backstroke. She is now ready for the Dolphin class where she will learn breaststroke and butterfly. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that James Ballard, age 5, has graduated from the Otter class level. He can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on his back for a security breath. He will be moving to the Seal class to perfect his kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Tabatha Rush, age 10, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Tabatha can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Tabatha has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to the swim team environment. Here she will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on her feet.
