EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Jackson Fischer, age 5, has graduated from the Porpoise class level. He has learned to swim a proper freestyle stroke with the side breathing technique and backstroke. He is now ready for the Dolphin class where he will learn breaststroke and butterfly. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Charlotte Gessner, age 3 has graduated from the Seal class level. She is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Charlotte can also jump from the side, get a breath on her back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. She will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Catherine Ianuzzi, age 4, has graduated from the Sea Lion class level. She can now display the ability to swim a basic freestyle stroke (otherwise known as “big arms”) while taking a breath on her back. She is prepared for the Porpoise class where she will learn the freestyle side breathing technique and backstroke. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Alisha Shirodkar, age 7, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Alisha can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Alisha has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to the swim team environment. Here she will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on her feet.
