EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Jade Mckinnon, age 5, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. Jade can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Jade has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to the swim team environment. Here she will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on her feet. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Isabella Taylor, age 3 has graduated from the Seal class level. She is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Isabella can also jump from the side, get a breath on her back, and return to the side of the pool as a safety habit. She will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Connor Meliska, age 1, has graduated from the Pufferfish (parent/tot) class level. Connor was given an introduction to the water which included back floats, kicking, and under water passes (not to mention great bonding time with mom and dad). Connor is ready to advance to the Otter class which is a group lesson of only four children. In this class he will learn how to swim independently in the water. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Daylia Garland, age 7, has graduated from the Otter class level. She can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on her back for a security breath. She will be moving to the Seal class to perfect her kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer.
