EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Ricky Martinez, age 2, has graduated from the Pufferfish (parent/tot) class level. Ricky was given an introduction to the water which included back floats, kicking, songs, and under water passes (not to mention great bonding time with mom or dad). Ricky is ready to advance to the Otter class which is a group lesson of only three children. In this class he will learn how to swim independently in the water. He will be moving to the Seal class to perfect his kicking skills with improved breath control. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Sydney Pryor, age 6, has graduated from the Dolphin class level. She can now display the basics of all four competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Sydney has completed the EVO Swim School curriculum for group lessons and is ready for our Advanced Stroke class. Advanced Stroke classes swim the length of our pool and receive an introduction to a swim team environment. Here she will learn how to turn on the wall, read a pace clock, and perform new drills with fins on her feet. EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Nate Heiss, age 7, has graduated from the Seal class level. He is now considered a proficient back yard swimmer with the ability to swim three widths of our pool (30 yards total) with a strong kick and great breath control. Nate can also jump from the side, get a breath on his back, and return to the side of the pool as a habit of safety. He will be moving to the Sea Lion class to receive an introduction to the freestyle stroke with an emphasis placed on “big arms”.
